Oliver Woodford is a grant management specialist who has a decade of experience working for both UK and international NGOs and foundations. He holds a BA in Geography from the University of Exeter. His career started in the sport for development sector, working at a leading grant-making foundation that supported disadvantaged young people and communities across the world through the power of sport, and managed a diverse portfolio of grants and partnerships across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. His last four years have been spent working primarily in the UK, both for the McKinsey and Co. founded NGO Generation UK&I, and more recently at the Westminster Foundation, the philanthropic initiative of the Duke of Westminster.
Originally from the southwest coast of England, Oliver lives in London where he has spent the last eight years. Prior to that, he spent 2.5 years studying and working across Peru, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Colombia. He enjoys all the restaurants, coffee, bars, parks and bustle that life in London brings, as well as travel across Europe and beyond, tennis (he lives 15 mins from Wimbledon!), running, reading, and being at the beach.
