Gloria Kebirungi is an accomplished professional with over 5 years of experience in international development, currently based in Kampala, Uganda. She most recently served as a Global Health Consultant at The World Bank Group where she adeptly managed strategic projects within the Gavi Vaccine Alliance partnership, contributing to COVID-19 vaccine (COVAX) related initiatives. Her expertise in program management, operations, and client relationships, coupled with proficiency in research, was instrumental in contributing to COVAX-related initiatives and shaping the Bank’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gloria holds a Master’s degree in International Economics & Political Economy from Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. Her diverse career not only includes positions within global health, but also the education sector and the private sector, particularly investment advisory. Excited about her recent transition to the Global Methane Hub, Gloria is now part of the Energy team, bringing her wealth of experience into the climate sector.
