Tais is a Brazilian lawyer with over 8 years of experience advocating and campaigning for sustainable food systems. Before joining GMH, she served as Head of Food Policy at Sinergia Animal, where she secured several policies from public and private institutions to reduce emissions from food production in Latin America and Asia. She has solid experience working in coalitions and building relationships with people from different cultures.
With a background as an engagement manager, Tais has extensive experience leading campaigns, analyzing legislation, and negotiating policies with producers, retailers, policymakers, and multinational food companies like JBS, Bunge, and Carrefour.
Taís began her career working in the legal department of financial institutions such as Santander and ING, where she gained experience in due diligence as well as analysis of agreements, loans, and guarantees.
She holds a master’s degree in environmental law and sustainability management from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, doing sports, and spending time with her dog.
